About Crossforce

Our story

Crossforce was born at the Technical University of Denmark, where the founders were researching how to create effective online networks for continuous learning, knowledge-sharing and networking across separate groups.

On this journey, they met the inventor of the knowledge-based organisation and management guru Lars Kolind. Kolind created the so-called spaghetti-organisation - a highly efficient and innovative knowledge-based organisation - which is one of the world's most studied business cases.

This match of deep knowledge and experience with building networks and organisational design unleashed the unique and leading Community Engagement platform you see today.
Why serial entrepreneur, famed CEO and board member
Lars Kolind
believes Crossforce is the future of organizational communication:

Collaborating, innovative and purpose-driven organisations and networks

Departments and other structures are powerful, but the knowledge- and social potential between structures are lost. Organizations and networks should democratize by giving everyone access to meaningful overviews of the network, and by enabling everyone to easily contribute with knowledge and ideas across functional and hierarchical boundaries. It should be possible for teams to self-organize around strong shared purpose.
Passionate and deeply connected employees/members

Users should feel part of something bigger that they can explore and connect with. They should be allowed to tap into their shared interests with others outside their regular function. If we can create just a handful of new professional friendships in your organisation, that makes a world of difference.
Natural networking free from evil algorithms

Technology should work for humans, not the other way around. How we network online should be inspired by how our brains understand complex information cognitively and how humans socialize. What users do should be guided by their intent - not by distracting ads or self-serving algorithms. Data should be confidential and secure in a closed, psychologically safe environment.
